Mandarin sex (pic included)

Is this a male or a female?

It would be easier to sex if you could get a pic of the erected dorsal fin. The males have a long streamer that comes off the first ray of it.

ok, here is another shot.

i really don't see a pronounced dorsal fin. i think it's a female.

yeah, if in that link the top is the female and the bottom is the male, then mine might be a male too!

my main question is can I keep a male Spotted Mandarin with a male Green Mandarin?

I know that 2 males of the same species will not get along, but since they are different species I wasn't sure?

I don't think it would be a good idea to add two male mandarins (even different colorations). If you want two, try a male and a female.
