Mandarinfish.

Unfortunately I had been blowing off some rocks and the mandarinfish got a little bit of sand on him. He's been in my tank for nine months now, nice and fat.

Occasionally I will see him pick at the general tank feeding but 9 times out of 10 will spit it out. I have more pods than I know what to do with, so he has never had the necessity of trying to eat something other than live pods.
 
He's adorable. It's pictures like these that test your patience--waiting for a long-established tank to have one of these babies is tough. :p

It helps that I started out with an optimally healthy fish fresh from the distributor so it hadn't had time to starve in the LFS tanks.
