Manderin loosing colors

All of my \params are in line, just wondering if anyone else has ran into this issue before. It looks like he is getting dull light spots around the back of his head and down his back. Sorry, no current picture yet, but just checking if anyone else has run into this? thanks (And he is not sleeping)

What does he eat? Just copepods or do you feed him something else?

How big is the tank? How long has it been running? Mandarins need well established, large systems. They can easily deplete their entire food source in young, small to medium setups. Size of tank isn't as much about space for mandarins as it is food.

I would bet it is not getting enough pods to eat. This sometimes causes their slime coat to deplete as they are stressed. Consider buying and adding pods or perhaps the mandarin may eat mysis as mine has started to eat it.

yes, ive added coepods the other day, just in case, but i will keep an eye on him. i recently added alot of corals, maybe that stressed him too...
