What liting would i need to have mangroves would t5s work?

T5's should work fine, I would use something with a kelvin around 6500k.
I'm currently using an outdoor PC fixture made by Lights of America its 65 watts and uses a 6500k bulb.

I have my next to my tank with no lights. They just get the light coming off the tank, and they are growing. It's been a few months now
However, I don't reccomend this, it's just I've been to busy to get any lights over them. When I do it will be the cheap Home Depot PC mogul socket bulbs for like $6. They work very well.
