When I broke my last tank down, I removed my mangroves and started them in a vase in our kitchen window and straight into fresh water. I have set up a small nano now and would like to put them back into salt but am wondering about acclimation and should they be soaked in RO water before adding them to my cycling tank? I have used plane tap over the almost year they have been in freshwater so don't want to shock them, I also don't want to introduce anything nasty into my nano. They have grown quite a lot in the window, almost tripling in size, would I be better off leaving them and getting more for the tank?
