I have 7 mangrove pods rooting agressivly in my 40gal refugium/sump.
The sump fuge has about 2" of sand misc live rock chunks, a softball of chaeto and the 7 pods.
As the roots are now growing quickly i started to wonder if having them in there with my live rock will be a problem down the road. If/when the mangroves outgrow the sump or grow too tall and out of their lighting will the roots be all entangled in the rocks, then die then polute my tank?
Wondering if anyone has advice or experiance on this.
Thanks!!!
