Mangrove

Does anyone see anything wrong with planting a mangrove in my sump in a homemade mud mixture I use to use in my planted freshwater discus tank.

Vermiculite and fluorite mixture.

I've got a small mangrove growing in just the rockwork in the 'fuge of the sump. No soil. But I love your idea of vermiculite and fluorite.
