I got a 2'' purple max a few weeks ago and the mantle seems to more extened than most maxs I usually see. It is extended well out over the entire shell and sometimes cups upward. It is about 8 inches from the light, but I was thinking it still is not getting enough light. I do feed it with DTs. Could this be a happy clam, or is it unhappy? Thanks
