mantis and clams possible?

I want to buy clams and would like to know if the mantis will think of them as food, or leave them alone like he leaves all my corals?

I have given up on buying more fish, and will keep my tank as a strictly reef tank but at least can I buy clams?

Please let me know.

I doubt it, my peacock ate a non-ornamental clam that was part of the LR rockscape...

I wouldn't try it, my N. wennerae ate several clams that came with the LR.
