I wish I had my camera for this one....
I get home from work and I hear an unusual snap from my mantis tank...walk over and what do I get to watch...
A snail on the glass about 3 1/2 inches up from the substrate and my mantis hanging onto the snail, kicking his legs wildly. My mouth drops open
and then the mantis lets go of the snail and drops down to the bottom on his back
Appears to take a few deep breaths) and then swims back up to the snail:eek2: He grabs the shell and wiggles about and slowly the snail slides down the glass
Then when he can touch the substrate, bam
The snail lets go of the glass and my mantis swims to his LR with his treat and begins his smashing...lunch is served:smokin:
