It is a common species throughout the Caribbean. This one was photographed from Key Largo, FL. They occur from just subtidal down to at least 100 feet living in burrow in sand. I know of no one who collects them for sale, but they are easy to catch. I can usually get a couple on a dive.. The only way I can get them is with bait and a noose inserted into the opening of the burrow.

Sorry, but I can't provide animals. I only collect stomatopods for my own research.
