Mantis Filtration

I am upgrading my mantis to a 16 gallon BF, I am thinking about using my Remora w/mj1200 as the main filtration, and just adding around 7-10 lbs of LR, do you think this will be enough filtration??? Right now I just have mechanical (and some carbon in the filter) on a much smaller tank (5g) I figure the skimming would help tremendously, and if i have LR, and a good remora skimmer, that should be sufficient.... Any thoughts or suggestions???

I have the same Remora and Maxijet 1200 combo for my 12 gallon hex tank. There may be some issues with microbubbles.
