so what's a good cheap mantis enticer to feed it? To check it's response? Nitrates are still a bit high, but they are finally starting to lower.
The shrimp trap might work after the nitrates stabilize, but I'm not sure it's a good idea until the cycle stops it's thing. Nitrates went back up when I put it in earlier(there was no ammonia though) and it seems they are now coming back down again.
Do you think this will entice it after the cycles completely finished? Or will I just set off nitrates again? Would it be bertter to use live bait?
