he looks like a smithii. how many other gonodactylyds have the purple meral spots?

so those were both from tbs online? maybe if the lfs falls through i will just order one from tbs then....you think they would sell me a gorilla crab also?...not for my main tank but for the mantis tank

also what temperature do these mantis need? i read somewhere that i dont even need a heater? what do you have for your mantis tank?

oh ok cool....and i only have maybe half an inch of sand in the tank and im going to get a peice of pvc pipe tomorrow for its burrow....does it matter that i only have half an inch of sand?

and there is a big hole in one of my rocks already but should i still get the pvc? cause i would like for the mantis to make a burrow in the live rock rather then the pvc pipe...more natural

mine has made a burrow in the rock. i dont like the look of pvc in a tank. se if you can make the live rock into a cave like structure.

i wish i could post a picture but there is a big hole maybe an inch in diameter right in my live rock and the inside is all hollowed out so there is plenty of room in the rock and a big hole....im hopeing he will go in there....you think it would go in a hole that big though?
