Mantis in a bb?

Just found a small mantis about one inch long. I think he came with the rock from the gulf. And believe he is a weenerae. I caught him and put him in my fuge. Can I keep him in a 10g fuge with no sand. Just plan on kepping cheato there for now, with a few small pieces of rock. Its an acrylic tank. Do you think he will be alright there?

I don't see him damaging the tank, but I would add more than just a few small pieces of LR.

Alternatively you can toss in some PVC fittings, or some short PVC tubes, if you want something "inert".
