Mantis in my refugium

I have a 75 gallon fuge with a good bit of live rock and a 6" DSB. Water comes from my main 140 gallon show tank into the fuge, then to a sump with skimmer, from there into my main sump and is finally returned to the main tank. The fuge/skimmer/sump arrangement is remote to the main tank, it all sets on a stand in the garage where everything is easy to access. Since I have it lit and use it for some coral propagation, I keep it clean and neat, better than a lot of show tanks I have. The only problem is that it's boring unless you like watching the thousands of pods swarming over everything. I would like to get a peacock mantis for this tank, I've always found them fascinating. I'd appreciate any feedback as to suitability, preparations I should make, advice about feeding, etc. Thanks in advance for your help!

If it's really bright, a peacock might not be the best idea. From what I understand, Dr. Roy has made some preliminary links between intense lighting and shell disease in peacocks. Maybe a larger Gonodactylid would be a better idea...

I only have one super actinic and one white HO fluorescent, I haven't been able to get anything to propagate or grow in there that needs bright light - it's mushroom heaven but that's about it. I'm building a new hood for it this weekend and will use a small MH above the chaeto.

As long as you provide a dark burrow (pvc?), the animal should be fine. It will move things around, but if you can tolerate that, I see no problems.
