Mantis in the UK?

Hi!

I'm restricted to a 9g tank and the only mantis i seem to be able to order from any of my LFS' are peacocks which I think will be too big.

I'm looking for any small active species available to mail order in the UK (or pickup from around the Midlands). Something like a G. chiragraa, P. ciliata or an N. wennerae i'm pretty sure would be happy from what i've read.

Hi Fras,

I can put you in touch with a few LFS round the country who will be able to provide you with mantis.

However, if you have a LFS who holds live rock, you could ask them to keep and eye out for you.

i live up in Hull, and i have one going spare if you want, dont know what species it is though, its about 1.5" - 2" long. i work for an aquarium shop and any mantis we find or is brought in somehow finds its way to my house (my boss gives me them cos he knows i like them)
