mantis missing one smasher - will it grow back?

After aquiring a mantis a week ago, he finally came out of his borrow in the rock he came with. I finally got a good enough look at him to notice that he is missing one of his smashers. Will this grow back or is he forever gimped?

It will grow back. Depending on the species and size, this will take two or three molts and 4 - 8 months.
