Mantis or what?

I have been hearing a clicking noise like 3/4 days ago and im not sure what it is.Here's a list of my live stock:

Royal Gramma
Ocellaris Clown
Percula Clown
Emerald Crab
Sexy Shrimp
Fire Shrimp
Porcelain Crab
Few hermits
And probably some more inverts but I foget.

Anyway, if it was a mantis wouldn't my inverts/fish be dead already?

BTW, I started hearing this noise when I got my sun coral which isn't that big.What im worried about is that it could be a small mantis so that's why right now it isn't killing anything, but when it grows it might kill everything! =/

how big is your tank? can you remove the rock and rinse it to flush out inverts and other things hiding?

It's a 10g tank, but I don't want to remove the live rock, that will probably kill alot of my pods.

if you do find a mantis keep it alive i am currently looking for one and will pay you for it if you would be willing to switch and your pods should be ok if you remove live rock just flush the rock out over a bucket with sw then you can keep the mantis alive and pout the water back in your tank allthough from what i hear flushing out with fresh water is easiest to get them out but either way it will never dry and still stay lr and shouldnt hurt the pod population much
