What species spreader would i commonly be able to find?
I have a great tall tank that i can setup with a nice deep sand bed for a home and still have room above the tank.


A just for fun question. What is the larges species of Manits kept in an aquarium.

"spreader"? Uh... "spearer"? Interesting typo, must have been thinking about peanut butter...

A much more common spearer is Pseudosquilla ciliata (see Roy's List). Much easier to keep, you don't need a 16-inch sand bed!

plus P ciliata's temperament is a bit more aggressive (interactive, fun, killer, whatever you want to call it) because it evolved back into a spearer from a smasher (these are the angry ones).

I keep on hearing about this retroevolution of P. ciliata. Anyone have a reference? It's not on Roy's List, for instance.
