For several weeks I have been hearing the tell tale popping sound of one of these guys but have not been able to locate him. So I come across a commercial trap at LFS that is going out of business for 50% off. What the heck why not.
It has not even been put in my tank yet for the night to try to catch him when I catch my first one. I pulled my mangroves out to clean the leaves and there he is a baby mantis shrimp(.25" at most)(currently contained).
I start thinking to myself are these things like roaches find one baby and there are a hundred more in there waiting to dine on my critters.
What do you all think?
And does anyone want to raise a baby mantis?
