Manufacture date of pumps

Is there a way to identify the age of a Tunze Turbelle style pump?

What's the model? Those have changed a bit over the years and may provide a clue. I know that the 6095's recently had the controller changed, perhaps a little over a year ago.

The motor will usually have a date code, it is embossed on the plastic of the hexagonal motor body, it will be on one of the side walls you will see when you remove the front cover, this is the part with the hole the propeller is in. It is four digits, month and year of production. I can narrow it down quite a bit by the features in many cases as they tend to be upgraded in some way almost every year.
