I've been thinking about why I participate in this forum more than the many others I am a member of recently and I've come to the realization that it is the people here.

I read motorcycle and linux forums mainly but the problem is an inflated ego complex by most of the users. Don't get me wrong I'm not making a general statement but most people here are much nicer and more polite than other sites.

The biggest example I can give is that no matter how many times a person asks "why is my water cloudy?" or "why is my ammonia high?" or any other question that has been answered hundreds of times they still get a polite answer. That is quite an amazing thing in my opinion and quite rare too.

So I just wanted to say thanks. I really do appreciate the help I've gotten here. I could not have as good a tank as I do right now without this site.

I remeber when i first started i didn't even know what live rock was. It's been 4months and the only reason I know all the basics is because of this forum.

I can't go a single day without visiting.
