marbled starfish

I recently bought a starfish two days ago and he was moving all over the tank, and I assume grazing all over the glass and rocks. That was until I came home from work yesterday where I found him stuck midway up the glass. I didnt think anything of it but he has yet to move from that spot in 24 hrs. Is this normal behaviour for starfish. The other one I had several years ago moved constantly. ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It may be eating. Their diet is unknown but the best guess is that they feed on surface films. I wouldn't worry unless it starts to develop lesions or legs start falling off.
