marc weiss's reef bugs and red slime algae

hello everyone, just wondering if anyone started seeing red slime algae shortly after starting to use reef bugs. I never saw it until I started using this stuff.

Marc Weiss products are well known for being just short of plain water.

I used the reef bugs for the first time this week. And within 24 hours my tank has a red slime algae outbreak. I've been trying so hard to figure out what caused it! I WONT use that stuff again!!!! What a waste of $!

wow I can't believe this stuff. It can't be very good if it is giving people red slime. It is a waste of money.

I did a search on reef bugs a couple weeks ago. Anthony Calfo posted on another forum (can't rember which) that this product falls in the catagory of things he would never use even if it was free.
