He's a Beagle mix, really small (12lbs) and super friendly... he's going to have a great time on Thursday to say the least!

Basically you keep going on 460W until you see the sign for the Smart Road Center, which you will see on your right, and take the exit right after that and stay on the left lane so you end up going towards Zooquatic. This is what is listed in line 16 of your mapquest listing. If you take the wrong exit you will end up going towards the NRV Mall and you can just make an U-turn to get back the right way.
Personally I find Google maps give me a better feel of where I am going, like

314 SW as pictured on the maps is on the opposite side of mainstreet from vanessa. you'll want to take a left onto clay if you are driving towards downtown from Z. that will take you down a steep hill, there will be a very small stripmall to your left (chinese food,music store and laundromat), and a public library in front of you on the left side of clay, and the police station in front on the right side of clay. her apartment is immediatly past and next to the police station. park in the library parking lot, a few of the spaces are reserved for municiple use so watch which space you take.
i'm 99% sure there is a sign on main street pointing out the public library.
if you need last minute directions, just give me a ring on my cell, 540 921 7601. if you get into town early give me a ring and you can stop by my place, i'm about 1/2way between Z and V right on main street. once you pass kroger coming from Z, you'll see my lights in a small brick apartment on the right.

Thanks Matt, I'm pretty sure I won't have any problems finding the place now, what was throwing me was that Map Quest added the SW at the end of 314 Clay St that Vanessa posted. I'll follow mapquests directions into Blacksburg then Shivaji's then yours.
BTW what time is Z open till? I might swing by there and drool before hitting Vanessa.
