March meeting

Wow no thread about the meeting yet.
Thanks to Bert's, Jomar, Fuji and Altpers0na for donating the door prizes for the meeting.
Dave and I would also like to thank Ron and Maria for demonstrating what this club is really all about.

Hey guys I was to exhausted to post a follow up last night.

Anyway!

Thanks!!!! To every single individual who showed up at this one. I think we made some great decisions that will help to better our group in the future and lead to a greater common goal.

I think everyone had fun and some actually learned something.

Yep we gave away some nice prizes Thanks! Jim, Barry, and Fuji!, and made enough to pay for more PRIZES! and that's all we really needed. I think this meeting demonstrated without a doubt who we are and what we are about.

Phil is now head of the demo group: If you have any ideas you would like to see or discuss let Phil know. Any idea at all, anything you would like to know more about in this hobby, let him know.

We will also be doing some serious coral fraging at the next meet...More on that later.

We also discussed the current hot issues and in a few days we (the council and I) will make some OFFICIAL decisions governoring the commercial post idea and how it will and should be implemented.<b> All suggestions are being looked into right now and we are working toward a common goal. I and the council ask that you please not make any such posts until we hammer this out 100%. </b> You all will be pleased with these results so be patient and let us do our work on this issue to insure the best way(s) you can make such posts without any problems. Amy is head of this project and is looking into what can, can not, and how it should be said on the forum to protect YOU the poster from any potential legal issues etc...

Politics aside, if you missed this one you really missed out. Phil brought in <b>cespitularia</b> and a <b>great purple cap!</b> Roger and I had some of our <b>Tyree Limited editions</b> there, some for the first time and I put the first <b>Purple People Eater</b> out there in our area for you guys to help spread the dream LOL. We saw no price complaints at this one there was something there for everyone, even beginners.

I'm so jealous, one of these days my racing / training schedule will allow me to attend another one. Yesterday I was stuck out on the bike for almost six hours riding 100 miles. I'll be back one of these days though.

I wish I could have stayed longer, but thank you everyone for making our meet a success, and a HUGE thank you to those of you that voted on my pic, I won 2nd place and was presented with a great coral! Thank you, and Thanx to those that donated prizes, making this all available to us

Mary what the heck did she do besides get in everyone's face and take pictures? LOL. Seriously for everyone annoyed by Mary taking pics I asked her to do that and you will see the results in a new CVRC promo film to be shown at our next meet and available to any LFS or anyone else wanting a copy of it.
