marco rocks and curing

My head is going to explode with all the info on curing and leaching of phosphates. I'm going to re do my existing 7 year old 75 gal. (new rock/sand/lights). I was hoping to purchase the Marco key largo dry rock. Does this particular rock need to be soaked in a tub first, treated, cured. Or can be dry aquascaped then the tank filled. I have four fish that i will relocate temporarily

I went through the same issue. I cured it in my tank and am suffering algae issues. Best way to avoid it would be cooking it in another container for a couple of months imo

that's my hope. 7 years ago with 75 lbs of tonga "cured" left me to battle every imaginable algae outbreak, phosphate and nitrate battle known. lots have changed in 7 years and was hoping for better success and less frustration.
