Hello, fellow hobbyist has a red devil lionfish in his tank at present. Fish is doing good.Only fish in his 108 gal. He wants to purchase both the trigger and the marine beta and is wondering what you think of this. It's a small clown trigger and the beta is about 3.5 inches. Is this ok? Yes or no? Thanks in advance.

I know the trigger isn't recommened with the lion but that is definitely a fish he is getting regardless. Not my recommendation. The marine is the main concern. Please give input asap as he doesn't have a computer and is on the phone with me now. Thanks

No. The trigger will kill the marine betta sooner or later. I wouldnt stand a chance.

I agree

Thats WAY too small of a tank for a clown trigger, It's going to be cramped and extremely aggressive to any other tankmates. your friend is making a big mistake by adding it. The Betta would be a much better addition.

You'll also probably get more opinions in the FO/aggressive section.

Agreed with both suggestions.

Agree with above. The tank is too small for a CT and, even in a larger tank, a CT is too dangerous for the lionfish and the Betta.
