I placed an order with Marine Depot this morning for a lighting fixture shortly before heading to work. I got home about 1:00 this afternoon and was reviewing the shipping information when I noticed I had made a mistake and ordered the wrong fixture. I had wanted the 2x metal hallide and had accidently ordered the 1x of the same fixture. I immediately called Marine Depot and spoke with Kira in the Shipping and Tracking department. I just wanted to mention that I couldn't be happier with the way it was handled. We were able to catch my order, she even went out to the dock personally and retrieved my item from the pallet before it was picked up by UPS. She then corrected my order and was able to have the fixture I wanted shipped out the same day. I am still waiting for the shipment to arrive but I just wanted to mention that I felt the customer service I received was excellent and mention that I will certainly do business with you again in the future. Thank you for your post and your nice comments, I am glad Kira was able to take care of this situation for you. In many cases, since our systems are fully automated an order that is placed on the web can be in our system, picked and confirmed shipped in less than 10 min. Unfortunately once an order is confirmed shipped. We can't make any changes what so ever to it, even if it's on the truck already. I'm extremely happy to hear that Kira went the extra mile for you to be able to catch your order in time before it was confirmed shipped.
