marine depot policy?

I talked to a few guys in your customer service dept. I bought a jebo 200 watt heater last week and the heater appears to not be working properly... i set it to 77 worked fine for a week, came home today for lunch my 30 gallon tank is at 85.6!!!!!

I called marine depot a new one is getting shipped out as we speak.. Great.

I was told that i have to pay for the return shipping, not a big deal, but doesn't MD have some kind of a 30 day guarantee or something against the purchase of defective items..?

Thank you for your post, yes we do have a 30 day warranty on our products against defects, this does not include shipping back to us. In the majority of cases the customer is responsible for shipping back to us, any type of method you wish to choose, and we will ship the replacement to you at no cost.
