Hey reefers!
First, can Marine Ich be present but not visible for over 3 months? There is nothing wrong with my fish currently, I am just curious. The last time I have added a fish in my tank was 3 months ago and I wonder if I can still experience an ICH outbreak.
I am getting a Naso Blonde Tang tomorrow and I have my QT ready to go. I have a few questions on Treatment of copper.
The Cupramine Copper bottle says:
"Use 16 drops per 10.5 gallons the first day, wait 48 hours, then repeat. Final copper concentration is 0.5 mg/l. Leave at this concentration for 14 days."
Am I only dosing copper 2 times? and how will I perform water changes if it will remove the copper present in the QT? because I need to leave it at 0.5 mg/l for 14 days.
How often should I perform a water change? How much at a time? (%)
-My sponge filter has been seeding in my tanks sump for 3 weeks and I am using a 20 gallon QT.
Thanks!!
