Marine Max by Tropical Science

It has been suggested that I use Marine Max to treat my Racoon that is scratching but does not have signs of ich. Marine Max claims to be copper and chemical free, that you can add it directly to a reef tank.

Has anyone used this before ? Comments ? I hate to add any chemical to the tank if I can help it.

My racoon is also feelng well enough that I have not been able to catch it. However, it stop feeding for the first time today. This is why I am getting concerned.

the marine max is usually dose when you put new fish in the tank to prevent ich somewhat. with my experience with ich, if the fish is weak and stops eating i think it is too late. try feeding it food with some garlic mixed in. good luck

I suggest you read the ich sticky post at the top of this forum .. to my knowledge there is no "reef safe" ich medication that is considered consistently effective against ich.
