Does anybody know what this little guy is?
When we first noticed it a month or two ago it was quite small, about half a cm long. It's shell on top is now just over a cm long and the body can stretch up to 2 1/2cm! At first we though it was a Trocus, but it's shell is quite flat. it has a snout and front and side feelers like a Trocus, but the shell is not Pointy like one. Any ideas?

Yes, it's either Stomatella varia or Stomatella impertusa. It looks like it may have the more pronounced striations of S. impertusa. It's in the Trochus family.

Cheers,

Don
