Marius's 220G Mixed Reef

So after being a non contributing member for 2.5 years I thought it's time to share my mixed reef.

Current System Specifications (As of 15 June 2012)
Age: 26 months (started on 14 April 2010)
Display: 150cm X 60cm X 70cm high (60" X 24" X 28"), water level at 62cm
Stand: 1.1m high with mid level for 60L ATU reservoir and frag tank
Sump: 120cm X 45cm X 40cm (48" X 18" X 16"), DSB with macro algae on top
Return Pump: Lifetech AP4660, 4800LPH (1270GPH) split between reactors and return line
Skimmer: Internal Reef Octopus Bubble Blaster 2000
Lights: 2 X 250W MH Aqua Medic Pendents with 20K globes, and 2 X 54W T5 Giesemann actinics
Reactors: 2 Skimz FM100 fluidised reactors for carbon and phosphate remover
Flow: 2 X Tunze 6105 pumps running on the 7096 controller in wave motion mode
Dosing: Profilux Quad doser with built in controller. Dosing alk, ca and mg
Battery Backup: 600W Cotek ST600 pure sinewave inverter with 102AH deep cycle battery and 3 stage battery charger

Frag Tank: 70cm X 50cm X 20cm (28" X 20" X 8")
Frag Light: 4 X 24W Reef Inmates Unit with Giesseman tubes
Frag Flow: Tunze 6055 on same 7096 controller as main display

Does this run all or most of the equipment in a power outage? how did yo run it and do you have any pics

Thank you all. I will add some pics of how the tank evolved from the start a little later.

The battery backup system is capable of running everything apart from lights and heaters. At the moment i only have my return pump connected to it. This ensures that oxygen gets circulated throughout the whole system and not just the display. With the single battery the return pump can run for about 8-9hours.

I also have a GSM commander connected to the mains supply and battery so that i get notified of when the power does go out and what the state of charge in the battery is. I will include a pic of the backup system later when i post the others.

That is an excellent tank. I love the look of nice big colonies. See far too many tanks with a million tiny frags. Just doesn't look natural in my opinion. However your tank looks very natural. Would love to know more details and see pics of how it's developed into this.

What an awesome tank! That lighting is perfect. Not too white, but not too blue. Are you using the 20k bulbs you can get online for like $20-30?
