Plans...we dont need no stinking plans!!!!

Whats really sad about this whole thing, is that I'm not too worried as I have done this all before. The colors will be off for a couple weeks, but I'm not looking forward to me glueing my fingers together and having to pick it off for the next couple of days

I found a trick to keep superglue from sticking to your fingers: cover them in aquamend epoxy first.

here is what you get to look forward to...

I use surgical gloves as well, but soon or later I just ditch them as I need to reach "that one last spot" and then I have to start all over again :hammer:

Uh-oh this sounds concerning :worried:

Why is that Dan? I'm not concerned one bit ;) I get more worried about shipping boxes than working on the tank.

Can't say I have done this one before for fish related stuff
You should give it a try. Its a great way to work on the tank. The wifey is at work and the kid is at day care. I usually get a lot done on these days :D

When ever I have to actually have to take corals out of the water I get concerned. Last time I almost fumbled my P. Lemonade colony and would have had a hundred frags. So if I get concerned on my crummy looking tank, I get real concerned on such a nice looking tank. I donno the "if it aint broke don't fix it" versus "the it can always be better" push and pull always makes me :crazy1: Make sure to take a before and after pictures, good luck.

I took a picture a few weeks back at two years, so unless I'm planning on that being the end to all of my corals (and Im not), I will just tank pictures when the tank is complete.

I'm just undecided what to do with my Lime in the sky and raspberry sherbet colonies. The Lime is the sky has another coral growing up its base and the setosa is growing over that one. Lets not even talk about the sunset. Either way, I have no idea how things will transpire. All I know is that I will be putting back most of the corals and my aussie echinata's as well. I've also debated moving/removing my cquarium....Who really knows :blown:

Just a reminder what the tank looks like :p

And the side I will be reworking ;)

I had to cut the blue tort a few weeks back and that was the start. I would like to move it more towards the center of the right, but like I mentioned, I have no idea how it will come out. If I remove my Cquarium, I could possible replace it with whats left of this :)

That Echinata is Dope man!

Good luck and im sure it will turn out well great!

I Too love to work on the tank when im home by myself. Its a great time to get a ton done without anyone bothering you!!!

Keep us posted on how it goes bro!

Mark, I know what you need to do with your Lime in the Sky and Atlantis Raspberry Sherbert ;)...there is a little ole place called Napa...

BTW, My Aussie Echinata is coloring up :D. It went almost completely tan, well okay it went totally tan/brown for a while. Now the whole top of it is lightened up trememdously and all tips are getting a glowing blue. I am moving toward the whitish interior branches with blue tips. I am swapping out all of my bulbs this weekend so I have to drop my light time for a bit to acclimate everyone as the current bulbs are really old and I don't want to shock the system. This shoudl help the color over time. I am most happy. I still have a few unhappy frags but most all are looking really good.

Amanda and Emma just walked out the door, a second pot of Italian Roast is brewing and the sun is out. Am I ready for this :bounce3:

Awesome Alicia, I'm glad the tank has started to turn around for you
All you have to do is ask and by the time you are done asking for corals, my elbows are wet and I'm trying to give you more than you asked for  I am very interested in how the echinata will color up in my display because even in my shallow tank, the colors have improved ;)

Good luck Mark! Hopefully you don't have to remove to much to get the look you want... and if you do I know a 270 gal tank that would look great with some Lime in the sky and raspberry sherbet in it ;).
