Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

Do you direct feed the Oyster or do you just drip some in? It just seemed to make a milky cloud whenever I used it. Maybe it worked, and maybe it didn't.

The cloudiness goes away shortly ;)

and once again....your photo skills never cease to amaze me. I'd love you have you shoot my tank if you ever made it down to San Jose. We'll have to arrange it next time your frag shop is open for business. ;)

Thanks Tony. Not quite a frag shop, more like I'm in the tank a lot and make a lot of accidentals :uzi:

So is that a dip or a spot feed? Thanks again.

My tank is proudly furnished and maintained by "Poletti's Accidentals and Frags LLC". :D

At this point Brian, I am not using Prodibio. I have been using ZEOvit for the last few months, but I am winding down at the moment and most likely will be using prodibio again in the future.

I was dosing 3 vials or bioptim every other week and 1-2 vials of biodigest every other week. So one week, Bioptim and the next week biodigest. I would also use one vial of reefbooster a week once the tank started showing lighter colors.

Mark, is there a reason you might stop zeovit? Were you not happy with the result or doing you think you can get the same with prodibio?

Brian, I am still cutting up pieces so I just want to take the foot off the pedal. I will still be dosing start2 and bak while trying to let whatever it is run its course. I also have had a hard time feeling comfortable keeping my alk at 7 and I think that has been part of my problem. No matter what, I have a better understanding of carbon dosing and nutrient export. My wife even asked if I was going to go BB again

Were you raised in NCAL? :lol2:

Nope, lived in SCAL my entire life. I'm just a baseball fan (Angels) and luckily drafted Zito on my fantasy team this year with my second to last pick. I always liked watching that nasty 12 to 6 curveball he had with Oakland. Remember how great Hudson, Zito, Mulder were..... hmmm I wonder whats better, that trio or todays SF trio of Lincecum, Zito, Cain/Sanchez

Thats easy...The Giants :D I can't wait to see Madison Bumgarner as the 5th starter and Buster Posey behind the plate

I'm not sure, I just squirt it in

Someone who shares my method of measurements:spin1:

On another topic, I just switched my side job to my primary job and vice versa. Back to insurance and retirement planning full time starting today:D Selling cars on the weekends for a few weeks at least, until they get tired of only having me part time....Now I just need the income to go from ridiculously tight to moderately unbearable:lmao:

Congrats JT; thats awesome!!!

We still need to do some Mikuni's and I want to come see your tank :D
