Thanks Dan :)

congrats that is awesome

Mark, Truly awesome, congratulations on 8 years. That is a very, very special.

Great shots of those chalices. Your camera skills are so good. The shots are beautiful.

A bit of info on the Brian's Hybrid and the ECC Hybrid...both definately different chalices. Once they grow out it is really clear how different they are. Colors are not even that close between the two.

On a sad note, I am losing some chalices :(. MM went out a week ago, it was just so small and showed some slight recession prior to the tank break down and move...Bazooka Joe, 1/2 gone, along with a few other prized chalices showing very slow recession. Sort of surprising as they have done well for so long. Well, that is the way it goes when you make changes. Arrrrrggg :(.

We have yet to finish the work in the house so I don't have the new tank set up...not even close yet. I am hoping within the next three weeks to get it up and running. I am hoping things can hold on until the tank is up and runing and cycled. We shall see.

Alicia, what can I say :(

I agree on the ECC and Brians hybrid. I really was unaware of the difference before I got my frag, I wanted the one from Jim, but that is how it goes sometimes. I am sure I might ne able to come across a frag one of these days.

Hang in there Alicia and get that new tank up and running.

Thanks Mark, You can have the first frag from my ECC Hybrid ;). It seems to be growing well, color is not all it will be once it gets bigger but it is looking good.

Thanks Alicia, I am no hurry these days. After IMAC, I will be working towards a new fishy and soon after that, I will be doing a tank overhaul. You know you are welcome to whatever I have whenthat time comes ;)

I am excited to see what you decide to do in the fish department. You are so much more bold than I am when it comes to fish. I have decided to go with a small group of anthias in the new tank...I just need to decide which ones.

Lyretails are always a good choice and they have a pretty good track record. I know how you like less aggressive fish, so I would stay away from Bartletts if I was you ;)

Mark are you planning to come down for IMAC? Tank overhaul? Is the the colony beauty contest, loser gets fragged? Do tell...

Also, Alicia sorry to hear about your challenges, you have one of the best chalice collections I've ever heard of...

Yes, Yes and Yes; well, kind of. I will be moving some pieces around and removing a few as well. I have a feeling that I will need to do some stocking up on some IC gel :p

Good morning Mark. Let me know when you'll be down and if your free I'll buy you an iced tea. Hope those corals are getting their light and nutrients, let the judging begin! Let me know what you're removing, I'll likely buy a few of your seconds (or accidental frags)!

Thanks Dan, I do like me some iced tea on our hot california days :) As for the corals, I am sure there will be a few left overs ;)

IMAC Should be fun on the big boat, hehehehe. I thought about going but ended up passing on this one. I think I might actually be setting up the new tank that weekend :D.

Dan, Yea, kind of a bummer. I have lost a few and have a number of other chalices that are receding. I really don't know what the story is. It is very slow recession so I think I can save most in time. It just takes so gosh darn long to grow these puppies out that when they recede to 1/3 of what you had its like starting over.

Mark, Lyretails sound pretty good. I will deifnately be staying away from any agressive ones. I love the fathead anthias but unless you get lucky and one or a pair of them decide to hang out in the main tank they mostly hide. I'll be doing some research in advance but I defnately want a few of them to kind of school around...maybe 7-9.

Stunning showpiece corals... whats this I hear about you giving away frags of your treasures soon? ;)

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeyuh... I'll buy you a long island ice tea when I come by for that party ~!
