Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

Been a while but the Tank still looks great!!

Thanks Rob, The tank is hanging in even though its BB these days :fun5: I'm still not sure if I will be adding sand back or not as I am just pretty lazy these days. Since I added a sheet of grey PVC when I set up the tank, it looks pretty snazy. My pops came by last night and told me that the water looks mre clear and my corals are telling me the same thing. I have had a couple chalices showing signs of bleaching on the tips due to the light penetrating more and my water being cleaner.

I really need to get the Nikon out, but since I have no photoediting program for raw images since the compter crash, I have been less that excited. Maybe I'll just wait to post some pictures until after the first of the year :D

I really hope that everyone had a great holiday.

I finally switched out my VHO's after 17 months and earlier this week I switched out my radiums. The tank is doing well and growing in nicely. As I was changing out the vho's, I snapped these really quick. I guess it about time I invest in a proper topdown box :p

Sorry about the less than stellar quality

DAYYUMM! :eek1:

Nice pix bro, much different is style from what Im used to seeing from you. I really like them! I think they also look different because of the BB..

Is that the microclados(sp?) to the right of the sunset?

Lastly, that OT is off the chain! :D

Also, what is the coral between the seasons and the PL? Is it the Real Deal?

Yes, Yes, and Yes :lol2:

Roy, That is the OG rainbow corals red stag. Nothing too special; just a red stag with green polyps and blunt white tips :fun5:

thats a pretty big coral growing off that small stalk and base :eek1:

Is that the one you think is similar/the same as MakoJ's ultimate pink stag?

Very nice Mark. I think I've seen a few of those in before and a few that I need a closer look at. ;) BTW how the regal doing?

Thats how I trimmed it. Many of my corals are bonsai style

As for the ultimates pink stag, I do not think that we can properly identify captive raised frags, but as far as the hobby goes, they are definitely similar ;)
