Wow Mark sorry to hear about it.
Thanks Arnie
Glad to hear that everyone is OK. It really shakes your sense of security....sorry to hear that it happened.
Thanks Marcy. The feelings come and go and I just wish they would go

Wow Mark sorry to hear about it.

Nice stags... do you know what their names are? I've got ones that look similar I got from Stan Mucha (smcooler) a while back ago. They're very colorful!
Very nice Mark!~
Hi Mark,
Like everyone stated, it´s good to know that only material losses have been affected by the unfortunate event.
Now, for someone that says polyp extension is way overrated, I´de say you have really overrated corals. :lol2:
That PE is crazy and absolutely beautiful! Well captured, as always.
André
Of course Dave I know their names  They are called corals :hammer:
EIther way, project ZEOvit is almost 3 weeks into it and for the most part, I am happy  I increased the start2 this week and started back with food this week. I have noticed the water being much clearer and some of my chalices and favias might need less light. I might even cut back my lights to only 4 hours from five since the water is clearer.
Glad to hear that you're having success with Zeovit Mark! It's fun and exciting to see improvement in a case like yours where you'd think none could be found, lol!
With your many beautiful and colorful corals it should be very interesting to see what Zeovit does for you!~
Success is all in the eye of the beholder Dave. I will not say that I am have any sort of success just because my water "seems" a little clearer and I have some corals that are lightening in colors. Please remember, I do not want a pale and starving looking tank. I want a clean sand bed and up to now, there has been zero improvement in that department![]()
Mark, How about that coral you received from DD this week, any luck saving it?
I think the sand bed will take some time to repair, be patient...Have you thought about those cool under the sand urchins we spoke about a while back. I got one from DD and it is doing its thing...of course my sand bed is not spotless. I have some weird cyano, very little but still there. I figure it is from the crap that my pipes are putting out. It is slowly receding as I get the water situation figured out.
Glad to hear the OT looks good. Whew, dodged a bullet there. The lack of PE on the Pink Lemonade is curious.
In that gorgeous shot of the sweepers on your chalice, that little nub of a coral in the lower right quadrant is a very nice favia in sweeper range. It is interesting that the chalice is leaving it alone. I would have figured it would have taken it out in one night with those sweepers. You are brave to leave it there, hehehehehe.
Its still holding on in the qt system. I did lose one of the branches, but I think the rest is doing pretty well all things considering.
Yep, that picture is the coral in the lower left hand corner of the tank with the crazy sweepers![]()
Sorry to hear that it's not going the best. It's such a nice peice.
Great tank. Looks like the tank has really came a long way. Great job. Whats your fish stock list? If you dont mind posting it.

 Love the coloring on this piece, kinda looks like a ice frosting. Mark, with CFM around the corner I looking to add the following colors: blue, blue and white, light purple (kinda like the Utimate's PM), yellow and maybe something pink. Any suggestions what I should keep my eye out for? I'm going to start bugging John (Your Reef) pretty soon because I know that he always attends.
