Equipment:
1. Tank
Tank will be customized Elos 120XL , 47Lx32Dx19H all starphire glass. I got a great deal from good friend that had one with cracked back panel.I will be replacing it soon with help of another member that has done this before. I figured, since I have to do all this ,I will also get rid of stock overflow and will go with two Xaqua INOUT that I ordered already and have them in my possession. Short video for those not familiar with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=UpqgRU_9o0o

This is the way as you see in video I want my tank to look. Stand will be build by me, design to be decided still, but you have 3 options below:

2.Sump
Sump will be custom made to accommodate my big skimmer and zeo reactor from Vertex that I will be purchasing soon. This tank will be full Zeovit system.

3. Skimmer
I am very happy with the one I have and will keep it. Skimz SM 201 Monzter rated almost for 500 gal. will take care of keeping my tank clean.

4.Flow
Two Tunze 6105 on controller will take care of what I need.

5.Light
After careful consideration I will be replacing my dimmable ATI T5 6x39W for another ATI PM LED/T5 combo. With my new tank being almost 32in. front to back I will go with 36 in. fixture 8x39W T5 and 2x75W LED clusters.

6. Controller
Right now I have RKL that does what it supposed to do, in the near future most likely Apex will replace it.

7. Dosing
This will be done by Marine Color MCD-3 dosing pump.

I will not be using any LR to start with as I don't want to introduce any unwanted pests. I will start with dry rock that will be cycled and placed in sump, and ceramic rock from Cerameco for main display. http://cerameco.com/gallery/vida-rock-standard-shapes/
I got the Bonsai and Branch large pieces for my tank. Most likely tank will be BB. Tank will be full blown SPS, with few small ,active fish and one big one, as main attraction. Still working on final stocking list.

All this will take couple months at least from start to getting it wet, but I will take my time to make sure all is done right. Any suggestions from you guys will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Mark, nice to see you back bud. This tank looks like the makings of another nice sps tank. What return pump and livestock are u looking at for this tank?

Hi Nick, good to hear from you. For return pump I will be using my Laguna Max-Flo 1500 pump. Super quiet and very efficient. My livestock is still to be determined, but mostly SPS and few small, cool fish. This time I want very clean, easy to maintain system with minimal rockscape and very open space for fish and corals to grow.

New tank looks really nice Mark. Can't wait to see it. I know with your coral thumb it will look spectacular. Keep the updates coming :-)

Nice rocks Mark. Oh I forgot to say I would go with the blue background. In my new tank tank I am going to do a blue back on it.

Its been a while since last update. Very busy at work and did not have too much time to work on my set up. But I got my tank fixed and it is almost ready to go pending successful water test. I was able to remove broken back panel.

I also removed stock overflow box as I don't want anything in my tank taking over real estate. This was a little trickier, as the overflow box was glued in to the bottom panel and not on top of glass like most tanks being build. You can see the cut out in bottom on pictures below.

Ordered a new glass for back, already drilled for my Xaqua overflows and a 12x12 tempered piece to cover the bottom cut out from original overflow box. I took my time cleaning all silicone and getting the glass ready for gluing. Used about 40 razor blades to get the job done. Cleaned all glass edges with Acetone and used RTV 103 black silicone to repair the tank. I waited little over 3 weeks for it to fully cure, right now I am very happy with how it turned out.

Big day today, water test !!! It is about 4 hours now and no leaks detected so far. I will let it stand for couple days, then I will put couple powerheads to create wave and flow inside, just to make sure it will handle it. Next will be building the stand. More updates soon.

Wow Mark you and I have the same tank. I still have your last tank video saved in my favorites. Are you going to be putting sand on the bottom of your tank or going BB? I am currently BB and loving it. Dan.

Thank you guys, I am really excited myself about this tank. I am still not sure if I go BB or shallow sand bed. I am a big fan of BB and ease of maintenance but i might try to go for more natural look and put some sand in there. My plan is to set up only two small islands and keep the aquascape very open, should be very easy to clean the sand. Tank still holding after 24 hrs, I am very happy about it. Will start building the stand this week and hopefully move inside by next weekend.
