Thank you, I agree with you on aquascape, I will put more rock back to make it look similar to before. This very minimal look was just a test to see how i like it. This weekend I should have all electric done inside cabinet, hopefully by next weekend it will be ready to fill and start the cycle.Really nice set up!
I like the ceramic rock and the stand design.
A really nice clean looking design in general.
Looking forward to seeing it with water in it.
I do have to say that I really liked the scape you had when the tank was outside.
I appreciate the minimalist approach but I thought the lower platforms contrasted well with the higher bonsai pieces... Not to mention all the great coral real estate they provided..
Either way, it's gonna be nice!
What return pump are you going to use? I have used the Xaqua kits several times since they came out in Italy for a few different builds. To get the most surface skimming I used the Eheim 1260 pumps for each overflow. That is what the company recommended. I found that at less flow the surface skimming wasn't adequate, and that was exacerbated by bigger and bigger footprint setups. Given my experience, I would recommend pushing these hard (gph-wise) to get the most surface skimming if that is a concern. You also need to clean them every so often if you really care about the return pulse. That said, I have liked these kits enough to buy 4 of them. They aren't for every setup, but they are pretty cool and compact. Thanks, I hope those overflows will perform with surface skimming. I see a lot of people using those on European forums. The ATI is great, I really like it. There is a problem,though.... it is too bright for my wife, thanks for dimming feature. I am still learning to program it correctly.
