Really nice set up!
I like the ceramic rock and the stand design.
A really nice clean looking design in general.
Looking forward to seeing it with water in it.
I do have to say that I really liked the scape you had when the tank was outside.
I appreciate the minimalist approach but I thought the lower platforms contrasted well with the higher bonsai pieces... Not to mention all the great coral real estate they provided..
Either way, it's gonna be nice!

Thank you, I agree with you on aquascape, I will put more rock back to make it look similar to before. This very minimal look was just a test to see how i like it. This weekend I should have all electric done inside cabinet, hopefully by next weekend it will be ready to fill and start the cycle.

Are you going to use any more rocks? I personally feel it will not be enough for bio filtration if you want to keep a decent amount of fish. I am pro probiotics though if you are considering it. :)

I will be using only a little more rock for this build. Also I am considering more rock, or Siporax in sump for more surface for bacteria. I am going with SSB too, for that reason, originally it was going to be BB. I am looking into Zeovit, but not sure if with my work schedule I will be able to keep up with it. Last, there will be only minimal bioload ,as far as fish, only one or two medium sized fish, couple of gobies and maybe school of Anthias or Cardinals.

Here is final aquascape, I really like it and don't intend to add anymore rock to DT. I like my bulb combo a lot, it is very crisp white with just a hint of blue, pictures don't do the justice. I have to adjust my WB and learn to take better pictures. Still playing with Leds on this fixture, they are so powerful, I think I will start them somewhere around 30% not to bleach anything. Yes, the blue spine cardinals are my favorite and want a school about 15, thinking a flame or kole tang ( those are smaller, perfect for my tank), royal gramma, swiss basslet and a dracula goby with shrimp. Still thinking about dwarf angel , flame or multibar if I can find a healthy one that eats.

Not too much progress today, spent most of the day with my family, but I made a screen top. I made it kind of floating, sits inside the tank and IMO doesn't take away from the rimless look. Lmk what you think.

nice tank man!..I'm digging them overflows you have!

How you liking that ATI light? I was thinking about switchng to the t5/led after the first of the year.

Thanks, I hope those overflows will perform with surface skimming. I see a lot of people using those on European forums. The ATI is great, I really like it. There is a problem,though.... it is too bright for my wife :), thanks for dimming feature. I am still learning to program it correctly.

What return pump are you going to use? I have used the Xaqua kits several times since they came out in Italy for a few different builds. To get the most surface skimming I used the Eheim 1260 pumps for each overflow. That is what the company recommended. I found that at less flow the surface skimming wasn't adequate, and that was exacerbated by bigger and bigger footprint setups. Given my experience, I would recommend pushing these hard (gph-wise) to get the most surface skimming if that is a concern. You also need to clean them every so often if you really care about the return pulse. That said, I have liked these kits enough to buy 4 of them. They aren't for every setup, but they are pretty cool and compact.
