Marks on clownfish?

Ever see marks like these on my clown?

They're only on one side. Originally when they developed I thought maybe just from the sting of an anemone that was introduced but its been months now and they still haven't gone away... and its only on one side.

They appear to be dark areas, scales in tact, no swelling or anything out of the ordinary.

Gladys seems as energetic, hungry, and mobile as ever, no real change in her behavior at all, just her looks.

I'm not sure if its a clown thing or a fish thing but was hoping someone might recognize it. I've had her for almost exactly a year now (wow yay!) and they've come on since about summer when a BTA was introduced.

Hopefully someone has seen this before and can tell me if I should be worried.

Mine are in bta's as well, so I doubt it's that, especially since it's on one side. Do you notice her rubbing on anything else in the tank? Is the bta close to any lps/zoas of any sort? Do you remember her ever being startled and hitting that side to cause bruising?

If she's eating/breathing well and otherwise acting normal, I wouldn't worry to much at this point.

Nope no scratching or um, I think theres a fancy word for it too, when they rub against rock and such. No bumping into glass.

The tank does have LPS in it but I'm not sure that it can cause any issues unless you know of something? Not many pieces she could host in or does, she mainly sticks to the BTA. Well, when I think really hard about it there is a chalice somewhat nearby and its stingers are pretty long but I don't recall seeing them so long they were in her area, just juxtaposed to it.

Being a latz its hard to say, maybe this is normal in mature coloring or theres some species/genetic thing going on? I'm concerned but not downright worried because there has been absolutely 100% NO change in behavior whatsoever, strange huh?

Edit: I should also add that the brain coral you see in the picture wasn't there until the day I cleaned the glass/took that picture. It had been doing great for so long but slowly stopped expanding so I moved it as an experiment to see if it would do better in a different location.
