mine took to its bta within 5 minutes. but ive read in a few places that maroons are the most dependent on a nem, so chances are it'll take to any of them eventually.
rbrta is a sure thing also easyiest to keep alive in a tank and not a fish eater plus they love them mine hosted in about 12 seconds and it took three weeks for her to touch the previous long tentacle also long tentacles grow very fast and get huge i gave mine to a club member with a 180 gallon and its getting so big he thinks its outgrowing his tank
I'd stick with the rbta but that's just b/c I read about so many other hobbyists having their favorite tang/mandarin/fill-in-the-blank-fish being eaten by their carpets. My maroons LOVE their rbtas.
Id stick with bubble tip anemones, whether they be green or the rose variety. They are way easier than any of the other varieties and are the most likely host for the maroon. Why risk getting an anemone that is harder to keep and is less likely to host your maroon anyway?
