I would take a closer look at that anemone. It doesn't look too healthy.

Agreed...not sure what the heck is going on with it I'm guessing water parameters I'm having my LFS check my water and my RODI water today, if everything comes back ok it looks like it'll get a new home

I've been thinking it may be the lighting as I have been using 4 54w t5s think I need to bigger? Tank measures 72L 24W and 29H

I would recommend getting a simple test kit for salinity (I mean refractometer that you can adjust, not the plastic hydrometer, they are not accurate), nitrate, nitrite, ammonia and ph.

They are not very expensive, last quite long and simple to use.

I have an bubble tip and the two clowns just stay in the same spot next to my overflow. Theyll check it out occasionally, but thats it. lol.

Turns out my water parameters are actually pretty good..phosphate was a little high and the alk a little low as well as the calc.and I don't have enough light to keep an RBT healthy...so going to try changing the light and dosing kalk Wasser...

Glad to hear that you found what the problem is. Yes lighting is crucial to anemone health. I only use LEDs. Not to recommend them but corals and anemones do look much better under quality LED lights.

Thanks...I cant believe the difference....I find it to be absolutely stunning looking at the photos it seems so unreal...I'm trying to nurse two smaller ones back now they look horrible but are showing signs of improving.

As you have discovered, lighting is at least as important for most anemone sp. as it is for corals.

Good Job!!!
