Maroon Clown

The only natural host for maroons is the BTA. Fortunately, they are one of most common host species and the easiest to care for. You want a well established tank in very good condition, as anemones are much more demanding than clownfish, in terms of water quality. If you're new to anemones, do lots of research before selecting one. Getting a healthy one to begin with is important. Anemone proof your tank before adding one, put covering on any intakes, as BTAs will wander around until they find a place they like, generally a cave in the liverock.
How large is this tank? It's really best to just keep a single pair of clown in a tank, unless you have a very, very large system. Your best bet would be to remove the maroon, or set up a tank just for it. Eventually, once those occys start to spawn, they will kill that maroon.
Thanks for the info, I have a 75g that is pretty well established. The two Ocl clowns do chase the gold stripe around-I was thinking if I got a Nem he would host and he would be fine. I think my best bet maybe to trade the lil guy off for his own safety. BTW the Ocl clowns do seem to want to spawn----but my tank would not be a good place for that.

I wouldnt worry about the maroon, i would be more worried about the ocy's. The maroon when bigger will prob kill the other pair, they are mean but can hold their ground
