maroon clowns acting funny

i was wonder my two clowns i'll see them once and a while they will go to the sand not in it but then just wag so fast that it brushes the sand all over the place. is this a normal behavior? they aren't scratching or anything. i'm just wondering if this is normal

Yes, it is normal. Not sure why they do it. Mine appeared to "clean" the area for it's host anemone when it was near the bottom of the tank.

Yep it is normal. I have 2 bubble corals on the bottom of my tank. And my clowns is constanly fanning the area around them. The poor bubbles falls over. It is a everyday problem. I move the sand back around the bubble, it upsets the clowns. They go back and start fanning again. But if I do this the bubble at least stays upright.

yeah my maroon does it also right under the anenome i like the maroon clownfish they have alot of personality....my girlfriend can even hand feed him ....its kinda cool to watch it eat from her hand
