Maroon clowns

I would think that they are all male in the tank but when you have two the most aggressive one turns female and the other stays male. Kind of weird but it works something like that. No worries there should be enough for anyone that wants some. I am off next weekend,

No problem-o... that is one heck of a drive that I didn't was to tackle!

Funny story... last time I was at the Oshkosh/Town of Algoma DMV, a Mother and Son where in line in front of me with a driving test schedualed in 30 mins. Turns out they had schedualed their driving test at the city of Algoma DMV thinking it was the town of Algoma (Oshkosh) DMV. Felt sorry for the kid as the next available test in Oshkosh was five weeks out!

Suppose they would all be born male, screwy fish. Just test'n!

According to Joyce, their all neutral, and the most dominant becomes female and the second the male... but the Marron is different that most other clowns, there comes a magical point when the don't toberate each other... I think it's the Glass box thing... in the wild, they'd set out and grow...and pair up...

Scott, You guys trying to or having anothe babby...?

Ref the www.TickerFactory.com tag.

Differant that most other clowns, yet so similar to us as humans ;7)

Na, I 'm using that tag to track the age of my Nano. Not sure how to turn the HTML option on for my reefcentral signiture... looks cool if I could get that damn option turned on, just a bunch of hypertext now.

I never read up on maroons cuz I never kept any but have had other kinds of clowns.
I always thought they were all born male and one turns into a female, then if that female would die the next one would turn into a female.
Ive never heard of that if you got a pair of maroons they would fight (but like I said never read about them).
I have heard maroons are more aggressive than most clowns. I always thought this just meant with other fish and/or if you had several of them though.
So if it's true and you can't keep more than one. How does Mike have a pair that spawns?
Are you sure it doesnt mean if you added 2 unrelated maroons or at different times?

All I know is I got my percs as babies as siblings. As they grew one turned into a female and got larger. The other I assume stayed a male and they get along.
Wouldnt the same thing happen with maroons if you got 2 of them as babies?
Or is it just that lucky horseshoe up Mikes butt that helps? lol

I would think if you wanted a pair to get along the best chance would be to get 2 together as babies.

kass
