Maroon experts, do I have a pair or not?

Please read this thread (not long) to get up to speed on my pairing of maroons.

Where were at right now,and have been at for the last 3 days:
He hangs out ,at all times during the day about 8-9" from the BTA she is hosting. Sometimes closer, but never much further.
Once the lights start to go out he gets much closer to her almost touching the nem.

Every now and then,if he gets a little too close, she'll rush him,he'll shiver, and she'll just get up in his face a second or two, then turn around and go back to the nem.
She rarely ever nips at him anymore. She didn't nip at all at this evening's feeding.

It certainly does not look like she is going to let him in the nem anytime soon, but she tolerates him 100% as long as he doesn't get too close to the bta.
She can come out for food and swim right by him like he's not even there,so it's definitely the proximity to the nem that triggers any aggression (which is nothing more than a mean look at this point.)

So have they paired? or is it possible 2 maroons could coexist without pairing? Everything I've read (or at least the way I understand it) would suggest that a maroon will not tolerate any clown except her mate.

I know I have a big tank, but he's never more than 9" away from her at anytime,so it's not like she doesn't't know he's there.
Oh, and she's a lot more aggressive towards my yellow tail blue damsel here lately if that means anything.
Any theories?
Thanks

sound good to me

is it possible to put another anemone close to the BTA she is in so they both could have one? otherwise let it be.

damnsels are such terrors maybee she will kill it for you do you a favor

No doubt, I've been trying to catch him for a week.
Anyway does this mean they have paired and she just want let him use the nem or do they still have work to do?
By the way I went over there with a redlight and looked into the tank this morning and he was in the nem with her, just not very close.
I'm sure she'll run him out when the lights come on.

Oh, I'm looking for another bta now.
I'm trying to trade some Hydor koralias for one in the livestock trading forum.
So if I get one I will definitely hook him up.

Will two different btas sting each other,if one moves too close?

if they are not the same kind like a clone or whatever. sometimes they will bother the other one

Well I think I can officially say I have a pair.
The male now shares the BTA with the female anytime he wants, and she hasn't nipped at him once in 2 days!
I'm trying to figure out how to post pics now.

Yea I'm about to feed him.
I tried yesterday but the female took it a piece of formula one and it closed up before I could get the silverside to it.
