Maroon plus Ocellaris?

Would there be any aggression if I were to put my single (about 8-9 months old) maroon clown in my 60 gallon with my pair of ocellaris?

maroon`s I believe are far too agressive to tolerate any other type of clown, and will even bite the hand that feeds it... not a good idea

I have a 4in maroon w/ a 2in true perc. They are In a 46g bow front with no nem ,only live rock. They spend all of there time together In the back right corner area of the tank. I have never had any problems w/them fighting or anything. They get along fine. (like buddies) They even both nip at me when I am cleaning the glass. (maybe mine are the exception though!!!)

Yah...I have a pair of occelaris (one orange and one black). I guess the Maroon would terrorize the pair, unless it went to the other side of the tank which has a ton of flow...I will try it though...

I had a maroon with an ocellaris when I first started in the hobby because I didn't know better at the time. They got along just great for a year+, then my maroon decided he wasn't invited to the party anymore. I didn't even get a chance to try to save him. Within a day after being together for so long she literally ate him alive. IMO I wouldn't risk it.

Such successful pairing as in metal1971's case is the exception not the rule. The most likely result would be a dead Ocellaris. I would find some other fish to add to your tank that wouldn't be such a risk.

I agree w/ PSEUDOREEFER. Was not trying to Imply this was the norm , just my experiance.I put mine together about 4 to 41/2 years ago when I was new to the hobbie. Have since learned alot more then I new at that time, and would not recomend pairing them . I know at any time my tank might turn intoa 46 gallon death match
